No you would end up damaging fuel lines wiring etc that you may be unable to find replacements for. Just drop it via the 2 straps as intended after draining it.
The Fuel Pump is located inside the fuel tank.there is a access hole under the trunk mat in the trunk, 3phillips screws and there you go....
THERE SHOULD BE AN ACESS HOLE IN THE TRUNK TO GET TO THE FUEL PUMP THAT IS LOCATED IN THE TRUNK.REMOVE FUEL PUMP AND REPLACE WITH NEW PUMP.
On the right side of the trunk , behind the trunk liner ( there is an access hole )
You don't as that is far too dangerous. Drop the fuel tank to remove the pump.
In the trunk behind the trunk liner on the right side ( passenger side ) There is an access hole in the trunk liner
On a 1999 Ford Escort : The fuel pump shut off switch ( inertia switch ) is in the passenger side of the trunk behind the trunk liner . There is an access hole
On the left side of the trunk , behind the trunk liner ( I assume there is an access hole )
In the trunk on the drivers side ( behind the trunk liner ) I assume there is an access hole )
I have a 89 Chevy caprice. When I had my fuel pump changed, they had to drop the tank...it was in the tank.
How do you change a fuel pump on 94 Chevy caprice ls
The fuel pump on an 89 Chevy Caprice is changed by lowering the fuel tank, disconnecting the pump wiring, and removing the fuel lines. The pump can then be lifted from the tank and replaced.
I believe the fuel pump shut off switch ( inertia switch ) is in the trunk , on the drivers side of the trunk , behind the trunk liner ( there would be an access hole ) on a 2003 Lincoln Town Car
