SAE 30 oil is not typically recommended for a 50cc scooter, as most scooters require specific two-stroke or four-stroke engine oils designed for their engine type. Using the wrong oil can lead to inadequate lubrication, increased wear, and potential engine damage. Always refer to your scooter's owner's manual for the manufacturer's recommended oil type to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
If it is a 2 cycle then use only 2 cycle oil mixed with the gasoline. If it is a 4 cycle use SAE 10w30 synthetic unless the manufacture recommends a different weight.
that scooter takes 1 liter or 1.1 qt of sae 10w30
The gas-oil mixture ratio on a 2005 powermax 50cc scooter is usually about 5% in the ratio of 20:1. For the tuned scooters they use 3% on the ratio of 32:1.Ê
Use synthetic oil and change it once every year or 5,000 miles whichever comes first.
I use castrol synthetic 10w30 or royal purple 10w30 that is only if u want to spen $10 a quart for royal purple but any synthetic oil 10w30 will work only use synthetic
Yes you can.
SAE 30 motor oil if the temperature is between 30 & 75°F.Colder use SAE 10 oil.Warmer use SAE 40 oil.
For a 50cc moped, it's typically recommended to use a two-stroke oil specifically designed for small engines. A common choice is a 2T oil, often with a viscosity of SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40, depending on the manufacturer's specifications and the climate conditions. Always refer to the owner's manual for the exact oil recommendations to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the engine.
Only SAE 30 is equivalent to SAE-30
SAE 30 or SAE 10W30.
4cycle
It doesnt use mixed fuel. Gas in the gas tank and 15w40 in the oil tank. I would suggest draining the oil first and then going with a synthetic oil. Engine will hold up longer. Hope that helps.
