Actually to answer your question..if you have it jacked up for awhile while working, the shock or strut would stick slightly and would take its original form when you take it on a drive. You would never notice this. Secondly, that is where you would jack it up to relieve tension on the mounting bolts for removal/reinstallation of your shock/strut. The only damage that can be done is depending on the size of bowl/cup that your jack has. If your jack cup/bowl is very small you can damage the treads on the bottom mounting bolt if you are not careful. No worries. Hope this helps. V/R SSG Sadosky, USA Army Maintenance Supervisor
Hot mounting involves embedding the sample in a hot thermosetting resin, which is then cooled and hardened. Cold mounting uses a cold-curing resin that is poured over the sample and allowed to cure at room temperature. Hot mounting is faster and produces better results, while cold mounting is more convenient and reduces the risk of thermal damage to the sample.
Yes , it does.

Usually, yes. If you damage something that doesn't belong to you, you're responsible for paying for the damage. Many stores don't require customers to pay for accidental damage, but they can.
I do not think it will damage the computer.
Just normal 4x4 driving won't damage anything. If you drive for a long distance with the diff lock on though you could damage tyres and at high speed could be dangerous,
