i put a 100Ah 830cca Bosch HSB019 in my 320d touring 2002, replacing the HSB017 90Ah/720cca. same width but taller and longer.
the plastic block at the bottom cradle needs to be removed for it to fit lengthwise and the tail light wire loom was rubbing on the neg terminal wire so I put a 1/16" thick plastic shield there. no problem with new height.
