P1601 code means there is an error on the Powertrain Control Module Communication Line to TCM PO325 code means there is a fault in the Knock sensor circuit
It is a nonservicable part, just replace it.
No it will not. The knock sensor is used to adjust the timing.
bad knock sensor
yes when it is not working properly
Most knock sensors are located in the block on the firewall side. Should be the only sensor with two wires in the block. It will also have a camshaft position sensor as well. Hope that helps. I am not educated on Mazda engines.
No it will not.
I was told at Autozone it is a Knock Sensor Circuit
the motor could pre-detonate or "knock" that can cause damage
Depends on Which Year and Which Engine (2.3 or 2.5) My 99 2.5L has 4 o2 PLUS a knock sensor
In a 1997 Mazda Millenia, the knock sensor is typically located on the engine block, near the intake manifold, often on the driver's side. Replacing the knock sensor usually takes about 1 to 2 hours, depending on your mechanical skill and whether any additional components need to be removed for access. It's important to ensure that any necessary gaskets or seals are replaced during the process to prevent leaks.
No it will not.
