Can a bad fuel filter cause truck to flood and not start?

Yes, a bad fuel filter can contribute to flooding and prevent a truck from starting. If the filter is clogged, it restricts fuel flow to the engine, leading to excessive fuel accumulation in the combustion chamber. This can result in hard starting or failure to start altogether, as the engine may not receive the proper air-fuel mixture needed for combustion. Additionally, if the filter allows debris to enter the fuel system, it can further complicate starting issues.
