The rule of the road is to flash your high beams to remind them to turn their high beams off.
Are both lights coming on and staying on? sometimes when a light is out on the front or rear the lights just come on and will not blink.
Faulty head light switch.
Is door ajar light on also?
The light sensor measures the surrounding light conditions with the aid of a photo cell and switches on the low-beam headlights automatically at dusk. The light sensor comprises the coming home / leaving home function. When leaving the vehicle, the front fog lights, tail lights and number-plate light are switched off after a certain delay (coming home) and switched on when the driver unlocks the doors with the radio-operated remote control or the advanced key (leaving home). The cars outside lights can thus be used to light the way to the front door or the vehicle in the dark.
Check all of your blinker lights. There are two in each tail light, one in each center signal, and one at the corner of each headlight, a total of 8 lights should blink when you have the flashers on. If a bulb is burnt out, it will increase the blink rate. Also, installing LED's in the tail lights will cause the blink rate to increase.
All of the drive lights (and most of the other dash lights) are attached to sensors related to correlated vehicle parts (ie the oil light for oil pressure, gas light for low fuel levels, etc.). When the drive lights start to blink that means one of 2 things, either your transmission is failing or the sensor attached to the transmission is failing. I hope for your case it is the latter. Suspect a bad four wheel drive module, or wheel actuator
its a ground wire
It means that a light bulb is out on the side where the light solid (not blinking) it could be in the front or rear of the vehicle.
airbag
Does the turn signal also blink? If so, you have two wires touching. What happens when you put the vehicle in reverse and the backup light is supposed to come on? If the turn signal lights up and the backup light doesn't, you have the bulbs in the wrong socket.
You should clarify your problem or question. Is it the front or rear signal light? Is the tail light coming on with the signal light? Are none of the lights coming on at all?
The velocity of light coming from a cars lights will be the speed of light C in the substance in front of the lights. It wont be the speed of light+the speed of the car however.
