If 225/75-16 is the original equipment tire the answer is no. The 265 tire is far too large in overall diameter. Your speedometer would read 55.5 at a true 60 mph. You would see a drastic reduction in power and the tire may even rub the finder liner when turning sharply. Your mpg would also be adversely effected. You can however go to a 245/70-16 which will be a very good substitute.
