You can but I would advise against it as this is an increase in overall diameter of 0ver 3% which is never advisable. If you want to go with a 60 series tire then get a 165/60-15.
185/55 r15 82v
Yes, this is an excellent substitute.
No, your speedometer will be off and power and fuel mileage will be adversely effected.
If the front tires have enough room to turn without rubbing anywhere,
185 60 r 15 could replace them.
Yes, that is a reasonable substitution.
As far as I know, the different sizes you can fit are: 185/60 R15, 185/65 R15, 195/55 R15, 195/60 R15, 205/55 R15 and 215/50 R15 on the 6x15 alloys. Chris from DIDCOT TYRE & EXHAUST
can i replace a p255/60 r15 with a p215/70 r15
Can you replace 205/65/R15 with 205/75/R15
You can but your speedometer will be off. Want to go wider then go with a 195/60-15.
no
The tire? No way. The 16" rim will require a 16" inside diameter tire. The rim could possibly be swapped provided the bolt patterns are exactly the same.
