Yes, you can single turbocharge a V6 engine. This involves installing a single turbocharger that boosts the engine's intake air, increasing power output. Proper tuning and supporting modifications, like upgraded fuel systems and intercoolers, are essential to ensure the engine runs efficiently and reliably with the added power. However, the specific details can vary based on the engine design and intended use.
You can turbo charge anything,it just depends on how much money you have
V6 turbo is better
Chevrolet actually made a Turbo 3.8L V6 Monte Carlo in 1980. Finding one would be alot cheaper prospect than trying to do it yourself.
i am pretty sure the sr5 v6 never came with a turbo on any 4runner v6 so if you have a turbo v6 then i am pretty sure your motor would crap out.
Very very expensive. But scope out STS turbos. They are mounted behind the cat just before the muffler. One single turbo can only produce about 8 lbs. of boost but its lag time is nearly non exsistent or at worst half as bad as a regular turbo. 4th gen f bodies are very difficult to front-mount turbo charge. http://www.ststurbo.com/universal_system
