1. if you use the same type of spark plug ,most often yes.
2. if it's a Chevy 4 cyl ,best to change all 4.
3. it is safer to replace all spark plugs , a new one by itself can be a problem in some vehicles, I had a mechanic that always did it this way without problems for about 3 years. but eventually I had a cracked piston.
