Heck no. E85 is a relatively recent alternative. You will destroy your engine and seals if you use it - ethanol is hard on components not specifically designed for it. Also, your Ranger probably needs to run 87 octane. That is the combustion rate for optimal engine performance. If you run too high of octane, the fuel won't reach it's intended combustion point and you'll leave fuel residue in your cylinders. If you use too low of octane, it will combust prematurely, and you'll develop engine knock over time. Use the fuel that Ford is telling you to use.
