There are a few things that might have gone wrong. You may have disturded a brittle vaccum line check vac lines, or you may have too much vaccum in the pcv.
good luck
by the idling air control valve
Yes, it could.
If its a turbo car it will stall if the blow off valve is not shutting properly as the pressure drop is too much for the engine to keep turning, same with lpg when you idle the pressure in the engine drops and it will stall you can correct this by changing the timing
Idling too high?
iac or tps
I sat in my car in the driveway with the car idling, waiting for the kids to come out.
Clean or replace your Idle Air Control Valve.(IACV)
Idle Air Control Valve....if this breaks you car wont idle properly....the rpm will go up then down all the time when idling
The first thing to check if a fuel injected car is idling high is look for (listen for) a vacumn leak. look for a broken vacumn hose. 2nd, check the idle air control (the IAC) - However, if it is a carburetted car then you need to set the idle lower.
idling too fast - adjust choke
if it is in fact the starter, it is probably engaging the flywheel. starter may be faulty.
it's possible
