The water neck is plastic and will leak at the block. Most problem's from this water neck can be repaired by replacing the water neck (Expect to pay $ 60.00 for this item). Be sure to clean and remove old gasket material and silicone before installing the new water neck. You will also need to open the bleeder on top of the water neck to purge all air from the cooling system. Then tighten bleeder when air has been purged.
