Where did Michael Faraday improve the steam engine?

Michael Faraday did not directly improve the steam engine itself; instead, he made significant contributions to the understanding of electromagnetism and electrochemistry. His work laid the groundwork for future advancements in energy conversion, including the development of electric motors and generators, which are conceptually related to steam engine technology. Faraday's experiments with electromagnetic induction ultimately impacted the broader field of energy production and utilization.

What is a induction kit?

An induction kit is generally an aftermarket add-on for an air filter on a car. Most comprise of an air filter and tube/ducting pipe allowing a rich flow of air to the filter. These are said to increase air flow into the engine allowing more air and fuel to mix, in turn, increasing power. They also add a really nice rumble or 'induction roar' when accelerating. Pipercross and K&N filter kits are probably the best value for money. I own a K&N one and i wont look at any others...but that's my opinion anyway. *Sorry for the plugs :/

What are good ways to upgrade engine for more horsepower?

To see significant horsepower gains, the way to go is forced induction (turbocharging or supercharging). not every engine can handle forced induction, though.

What is the purpose of a cold air intake?

The main purpose of cold air intake is to increase mileage. As the engine takes in cold air instead of warm, the engine cools down and more energy can be used to run the car instead of having to use up the energy cool it.

What is cool air induction?

Cold air induction is a ducting system, usually after market or add on, that draws the coldest air possible for the engine to use.

What is the use of carburators?
