Any '74-'80 Chevy HEI distributor will work. The biggest thing you have to do to add HEI is to run a larger positive lead to the coil. The small gauge wire running to your stock coil isn't large enough to carry the proper amount of voltage for the HEI coil.
YES.
No. It will fit the 1966 and 1967 Chevelle only. A 1967 Skylark hood will fit if you can find one.
no
A 1967 Chevelle SS hood will not fit directly on a 1966 Chevelle due to differences in the design and dimensions of the hoods between the two model years. The 1967 hood features a different contour and scoop design that isn't compatible with the 1966 body style. However, some enthusiasts may modify the mounting points to make it work, but this requires significant customization. For a proper fit, it's best to use a hood designed specifically for the 1966 Chevelle.
Yes, a rear seat from a 1968 Chevelle can fit into a 1967 Chevelle with some modifications. While the overall dimensions are similar, the mounting points and seat design may differ slightly between the two years. It's advisable to check compatibility and potentially adjust mounting brackets for a proper fit.
I really doubt it.
