first, disconnect the negative terminal on the battery, you will have to pull of the front of the dash first, then you will see four bolts on the cluster, one in each corner. remove those and the cluster will slide right out. unplug the harness connected to the top of the cluster. the cluster will then basically pull apart from there.

Generally, you need to remove the cluster and once you do you will be able to get at the individual bulbs in the back of the instrument cluster. Common tools are all that I have ever used, but disconnect the battery first.

Remove the plastic trim on the left side of the light switch, then remove the light switch by pushing the plastic catch to the left of the switch. Remove the trim to the right of the cluster, exposing two screws that are also to be removed. See if it is throwing a code. Gauge cluster might be bad as it was common in previous years. And check the output voltage and standing battery voltage. As with all these units, if you disconnect the battery for 30 min the problem sometimes goes away. (system reset) www.trailvoy.com
