No, Fluid, filter, and gasket
the dealer do anything different when it comes to changing transmission fluid in my 2with a 2.7 engine then the quick lube guys
You can just change fluid, filter and gasket
if you change trans fluid REGULARLY like you should, flushing is not necessary
Yes it should be!
If you are just changing the fluid it hold about 5 quarts, but if the transmission has been flushed (which I've been told is BAD) it will hold about 10. Hope it helps.
Have it cleaned out and flushed immediately
it is internal and u must break the case to change it, best have the fluid changed by a pro, flushed out by the dealer is best
The best way is to have the tranny flushed in order to get all the fluid out of the valve body and the torque converter.
Newer Impalas are to have there transmission flushed and not fluid drained and filter changed. The filter is now a screen and is cleaned by flush. See your dealer or TRUSTED shop for service.
It is a specific Transmission fluid available from the Dodge dealer. It is called Sprinter/Crossfire transmission fluid. It is a specific Transmission fluid available from the Dodge dealer. It is called Sprinter/Crossfire transmission fluid.
Did you try checking the transmission fluid? Maybe it needs to be flushed? Notice I said "flushed", because there is a big difference between changing the fluid and flushing it. If it is a rebuilt tranny, maybe it wasn't rebuilt right.
Have the fluid changed/flushed to the proper type as soon as possible.
