Need the same information... must call Ford. won't buy another one!!!! There IS a special belt tensioner tool you can buy, but a long ratchet or breaker bar works fine. Simply turn the tensioner to loosen the belt. It is the only pulley that is egg shaped. The tension pully is a spring loaded "idler" pulley, AND the ONLY ONE which IS NOT "driving" something, like the alternator, power steering pump, smog pump, radiator fan, etc. On most cars it is about 5 or 6 inches in diameter, and generally located "higher" on the front of the engine. It is mounted on a spring loaded "arm," which is how it maintains the "tension." As Answer 3 says, a long ratchet handle [or better, a breaker bar], with a socket which properly fits the tension pulley mounting bolt will do as well as the expensive dedicated "tool."
