most crankshaft pulleys have a left hand thread. this means it turns opposite direction or clockwise to remove
If your looking down at your headlights there will be a a screw on the bottom left of the headlight. It should be a 4mm. Counter clockwise will lower them and clockwise with raise them
There is an adjustment screw behind each headlight inside the engine bay. Clockwise adjustment raises the beam, counter-clockwise lowers it.

On my 1990 Tercel it turns counter-clockwise. It's in there tight, but mine came out. Spray some penetrating oil on it first and let it soak. You don't want to break it off when it comes out. Especially if it's been in there for awhile.

If you know where to change the odometer/tripmeter display... Instead of pushing that control, turn it counter-/clockwise to dim/brighten the dash lights.
yes you will have to hold the engine from turning somehow and use a cheater bar or four pound hammer to strike your wrench I used a tire lug nut impact gun without any cheater bar
