Yes, it can
probably ball joints but could be a tire out of balance or a wheel bearing
a shake in the steering wheel could be a few things,a bad rim, broking belt in one of front tires, aliment, ball joints,or could be all of these thing Could be as simple as wheel balance but have the front end checked by a mechanic to be safe.
try the steering stabilzer
You need to check the following brake rotors for warping Pads for uneven wear wheel bearings for wear steering control arms and ball joints may be worn out
no it will be your power steering pump it is worn or lowe on oil
Could be worn ball joints, worn steering linkages, worn/out of adjustment steering box and or worn/out of adjustment wheel bearings.
Ball joints.
ball joints or tie rods
You either have worn steering components like bad inner or outer tie rod ends, or worn lower ball joints. Sometimes a broken belt on a tire can cause shaking, but that's usually at lower speeds.
I would suspect wheel balance is the problem but the steering and suspension system such as tie rod ends, pitman arm, idler arm, steering box, ball joints and control arm bushings if applicable should be checked also.
Your driveline may need alignment (front end alignment), you may have warped rotors, or you could have bad "ball joints".
Wheel shaking is caused by a balance problem, either a tire needs to be balanced, a wheel is bent or there is a problem with an axle. HOWEVER! Most vehicles can tolerate a tire/wheel that is a LITTLE out of balance provided that everything is functioning properly. Among the list of things that must be functioning properly are the ball joints. Worn ball joints make the front end loose and the vehicle does not handle properly. If you suspect worn ball joints, replace them.
