Possibly from the trany cooler located in the lower rad tank. This will destroy a trany in a short period of time if coolant gets in the trany
well it depends on what you mean by "bad"
A red oil light can mean a few different things. It can mean the oil pressure is low, the oil level is low, the oil sending unit is bad, or the oil pump is bad. Have it looked at immediately and do not drive it.
you have water in it, that is bad
If the oil pressure warning light came on, it may mean that you have an oil leak. It can also mean that the sensor is bad.
It can mean you have low oil pressure and it can mean that the oil sending unit is bad. Do not ignore this and have this checked out by a trusted mechanic.
Bad oil pressure switch - $10 Clogged intake screen - $?? Bad oil pump - $1000 Worn bearings in engine - $a lot
How do you know the gasket is not bad? f you oil is milky then there is moisture mixed with the oil. This can be a blown head gasket or a warped or cracked head.
The oil light is an "oil pressure" indicator. it means you have lost oil pressure or the oil pressure sensor is bad
Depends on what you mean by "bad." If its bad as in low quality oil/filter it the long run it can damage your engine and in the short run give you less gas mileage. If its bad as in a idiot technician didnt tighten the filter or put the wrong oil, or not enough oil. Yes that can be very bad for your engine and damage performance.
You probably have a bad turbo.
in der tank, off course.
Check the oil pressure sending unit first. The oil filter could be bad or clogged. The oil pump filter screen might be clogged, or the fuel pump could be bad.
