I have changed the fuel filter on my 1992 Oldsmobile 88 royale. It is not very hard. It is under the passenger side of the car. There is one screw holding the strap on. The filter has Tobe pushed together and unsnapped. Look at the new one and you will see what I mean. Also look at the book "Haynes Repair Manual" and it will show you where it is located. I spilled gas on my arm so you must bleed off the excess pressure of the line. See the manual for specifics of doing this. It should not cost no more than 22.00 dollars.
Good Luck
Jim

To change the fuel filter on a 1993 Oldsmobile 88, first, relieve the fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and running the engine until it stalls. Then, locate the fuel filter, which is typically mounted along the frame rail or near the fuel tank. Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter using a wrench, and remove the filter from its bracket. Install the new filter in the same orientation, reconnect the fuel lines, and replace the fuse before starting the vehicle to check for leaks.
