What is your question about the 89 fuel pump? I have every year FSM and parts catalogs for the Impulse.
It is on the right side of the block and very hard to get to
A stock fuel pump should not be that noisey , a commmon upgrade is a walbro 190 or 255 . from gen 2 eagle talon. these are noisey to very noisey
you have to drop the fuel tank, remove the hoses after it is lowered a bit. once completely removed open up the sending unit and pull out the fuel pump , replace and re-assemble
most fuel pumps on most cars are located inside the gas/fuel tank, unless there is an alternative fuel pump added post factory.
what's the pis of the 1990 v6 isuzu pickup fuel pump
To replace the fuel pump on a 1989 Isuzu Amigo, first, disconnect the negative battery terminal and relieve the fuel system pressure. Then, remove the fuel tank by unbolting it and disconnecting any fuel lines and electrical connectors. Once the tank is out, access the fuel pump by removing the retaining ring on the top of the tank, then replace the old pump with the new one, reassemble everything, and reconnect the battery. Always ensure to check for leaks before driving.
In the fuel tank
It is in the fuel tank.
The fuel pump is an 'in tank' pump. You have to lower the tank to get to the plate that has the fuel pump attatched.
in the fuel tank
