To change a headlight on a 2010 Malibu, first, open the hood and locate the headlight assembly. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the headlight bulb, then remove the retaining clip or twist the bulb socket counterclockwise to release the bulb. Insert the new bulb without touching the glass, secure it in place, and reconnect the electrical connector. Close the hood and test the new headlight to ensure it’s working properly.
