You just have to open the sunroof all the way and then close it. Then the light will stop flashing. That sunroof was installed by American Sunroof Company (ASC), wich means that is not one from the factory.
To adjust your ASC sunroof, first ensure the vehicle is turned on but not running. Locate the sunroof control switch, typically found on the overhead console or near the rearview mirror. Press or slide the switch to open, close, or tilt the sunroof as desired. If the sunroof is not functioning properly, consult your vehicle's owner manual for specific reset procedures or troubleshooting tips.
To reactivate the ASC sunroof, first ensure that the vehicle is in the "On" position without starting the engine. Next, locate the sunroof control switch and press it to the "Tilt" or "Open" position. Hold the switch for a few seconds until you hear a click or see movement, then release it. If the sunroof does not respond, consult the owner’s manual for specific troubleshooting steps related to your vehicle model.
Hold the sun roof open when ignition is turned off.
when it's red, that means the sunroof stays in position when turn off the car. push it in to turn it green. when green, it closes automatically when you shut off the car.
