The fuel filter is located in the fuel pump which is in the fuel tank. It is tha same for as the 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe.
On the 2001-2006 Hyundai Santa Fe (4 cyl or V6), the fuel filter is a special "long life" type of filter located in the gas tank. It is better known as a "fuel screen", or "fuel strainer", that surrounds the fuel pump. The filter is generally only replaced if/when you're replacing the fuel pump.
From a Hyundai dealer technician- there is no serviceable fuel filter on the 2003 Sonata. The filter is a "lifetime" strainer on the fuel pump in the fuel tank. It would be replaced with the replacement of the fuel pump only. how do you replace fuel pump on the 2003 sonata
The fuse for the fuel pump on a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe is located in the fuse box under the driver's side dashboard. Specifically, you should look for the fuse labeled "Fuel Pump" or a similar designation. It's advisable to consult the owner's manual for the exact location and specifications of the fuse. If the fuel pump is not functioning, checking this fuse is a good first step in troubleshooting.
To replace the fuel pump in a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe, start by disconnecting the battery and relieving the fuel system pressure. Remove the rear seat to access the fuel pump access cover, then disconnect the fuel lines and electrical connectors from the pump. Unscrew the retaining ring to remove the old pump, then install the new pump by reversing the process, ensuring all connections are secure before reassembling and reconnecting the battery. Finally, check for leaks and test the pump operation.
Take your rear seat out, pull the carpet out of the way and there's a door with a few bolts holding it. Take it out. There will be another thing with eight or nine bolts.....take it out and you should have your fuel pump out. Hope this helps.
The regulator is part of the fuel pump assembly.
The fuel pressure regulator on a 2005 Hyundai Elantra is located on the fuel pump inside the fuel tank. To change it you must remove the back seat. Under the seat there is a axcess panel through the floorboard to the fuel pump. Un hook the fuel lines and wiring, remove the screws that hold the pump to the tank. Lift out the pump from the tank. The pressure regulator is on top of the pump.
