The arrows should point toward the front of the vehicle. Example. Front of vehicle <<< outlet (fuel filter) inlet <<< fuel tank
Undo the top hose clamp and the bottom hose clamp then twist the hoses off the filter put in the new filter and put the hoses on reclamp and your done
The fuel filter is bolted on the fire wall behind the transmission. The hoses are bolted on the filter.
push the plastic clips, disconnect the hoses then pull out the filter. you don't need to top the new filter with diesel, just turn on the ignition until you hear a click then it is ready to go.

fuel filter located under hood, passanger side on firewall (small cylinder with two hoses coming in and out. need Phillips screwdriver. first unscrew and disconnect both hoses and pull off filter. then loosen bolt holding filter on bracket and filter should come right out. place hoses back on filter prior to placing it back on te bracket and righten Phillips screws and bold. done.
remove the air filter. and the starter is behind some hoses. i have no idea how to get past those hoses.
You don't even need to move any hoses. There are 4 screws on the airbox. Just unscrew them and replace the filter. Hope that heps! =)
they make a kit that goes were ur oil filter is located goes between block and filter. has High pressure hoses that connect 2 an adapter. hoses go 2 the front were the cooler will b located . its woth the costs lower oil temp longer engine life>

not very! all you have to do is get two vise grips or other clamps capable of squeezing a rubber hose and a screw driver. the fuel filter is on the driver side, just in front of the rear wheel. clamp off the hoses on each side of the filter, undo the hose clamps, remove the old filter and install the new one. make sure that you install the new filter with the arrow facing the front of the car. after you have the hoses hooked up and the filter secured, you should be ready to go.
The fuel filter is found just under the left rear passenger door within 12 inches of the left rear tire. The connections to the fuel filter may take a little work, but they simply snap off. Try turning the hoses connected to the filter as you would a cork from a wine bottle. The hoses should easily disconnect. There is a bolt just above the fuel filter fastening it to the car. Initially removing the fuel filter from its harness may make it easir to remove the hoses afterwards.
