The immobilizer on a VT Commodore must be bypassed before you can tow it. To bypass the immobilizer, remove the body control module.
First you need to buy a bypass tool from an auto parts store. The next thing you need to do is to plug it into the immobiliser, press go and then you are done.

The Body Control Module contains the Immobiliser. Before towing a vehicle, the Immobiliser should be bypassed. This can be done by removing the Body Control Module. Worst case scenario, use a flat bed to haul instead of tow a vehicle.
