I would assume it takes DOT 3.
According to professionals, you need to change at least 2.6 quarts of transmission fluid in a 1991 Toyota Land Cruiser. You will need a 3/8 socket wrench to remove the transmission fluid plug.
Look in the owners manual. Ask a dealer or a parts house employee. Look on the AT dip stick.
Simply remove transmission oil pan and it's right there all you have to do is remove and replace.
You refill the tranny fluid through the tranny dip stick tube. Use a funnel with long end on it. You get one for cheap at local parts store. Walmart even has them. Good luck.
For 1991 Camry Automatic Transmission: 2VZ-FE engine (V6), dry fill: 6.2 qt, drain and refill: up to 2.6 3S-FE engine (4 Cylinders), dry fill: 5.9 qt, drain and refill: up to 2.6 All-trac/4WD, dry fill: 7.4 qt, drain and refill: up to 3.5
