I have the 94 with the 3.0. I replaced the original radiator cap with a 16# ventable cap from the auto parts store. Make sure the radiator is full and reservoir tank is at the proper level and then start the car and let it warm up. When you feel the coolant return hose get hot (not overheating the engine), turn the car off. Now open the cap for the reservoir and while looking in, operate the vent on the radiator cap. You should see the air bubbles in the tank. You may want to repeat the process a couple of times to make sure you have it all vented.
the library should have a shop manual for this vehicle, you can make copies of the right sections :)
There is no reason to ever bleed a cooling system.
Any time you flush out the cooling system you need to bleed the cooling system.
How do you bleed the cooling system of a 1988 acura legend? Is there a bleeding screw and where is it located?
If the cooling system is in good working order the system will bleed the air out itself. If the system has a leak anywhere no matter how small the system will never bleed the air out.
there should be a air valve on the engine that you can bleed the bubbles out of the cooling system.
Did you bleed the air valve? if you open any part of the cooling system on a dodge intrepid, ie: change the radiator hose or thermostat housing. You need to bleed the air out the Valve. If not the car will over heat.
NO!!!!!
Engine cooling system is not a closed system you can't remove the air.
The cooling system bleed valve, on your General Motors 5.7 liter engine, is located on the bottom of the radiator. The bleed valve should be in the middle of the radiator bottom.
There are various ways to bleed air from Clio cooling system. The best option is to run the system for a while with the cap up while making increased revs. Ê
The bleed screw is by the thermostat housing it looks like a brake bleed screw
