You should specify which bulb. As is, we don't know if you're talking about headlights, tail lights, or any other number of bulbs that vehicle requires.
9006 for the low beam, 9005 for the high beam
9006 low beam, 9005 high beam
From easiest to worst--fuses,bulbs,relays,switch,body control module, wiring.
The 2002 Chevrolet Impala LS uses HIR1 (9011) bulbs for its low beam headlights and H1 bulbs for its high beam headlights. It is recommended to consult the vehicle's manual or a professional technician for the correct replacement bulb.
Voltage too high - bad voltage regulator on alternator. I bet your dash lights are very bright also.... Change out that alternator before you start popping other bulbs....

Check the bulbs they are double filamented with smaller being for brake lights
was wondering this aswell.......halfords supply and fit more powerful headlight bulbs....give them a try.
You will need to remove the front bumper to access the lower bolts which hold the headlights on. fairly simple job.
If you can't access the bulbs take the light assy off and turn the bulbs counterclockwise to remove them
I need help too, but I know you need a 9007 lamp.
