If the yaris is following the same fantastic guidelines in the 2009 models then its a pain in the backside. especially the passenger front which is near the fuse box.

limited space, small hands required and have some bandaids spare.

If this is the first globe you have changed you will notice the Rubber Water Cover Boot will probably be welded or melted onto the existing globe, pull this off and when you eventually get it off do your self a favor and make the hole on the boot bigger. or place a small amount of grease on the inside so it doesn't weld itself to the globe next time.

unclip the light globe by depressing the retainer climb on both sides, replace the globe and clipping in one side of the retainer clip at a time, resecure the globe. refix the boot and plug it in.

and if you want to change the tail light quickly, best keeping a small 10mm socket and or ring spanner spare in the glovebox as you cant change the rear tail lights without taking out the entire unit. thats for the 2009 model.
