Disconnect ground batt cable, lift car safely, using two metric wrenches loosen the hex nuts on one side slowly to relieve pressure and drain into a large pan. Finish removing the hex nut. Slide out of holder if you can. On the other side is a 'quick clip' connector; these are tricky. Grasp the ears and squeeze tightley and while doing this push in the connector and then quickly pull it apart. It may take a few trys. The 30.00 tool is a waste of money in most cases, Just use your fingers. Installing it is the reverse but much easier.
