Fuel filter is inside the tank. Disconnect battery, remove console, disconnect plug from top plate(actually plugs into fuel pump inside tank. other side of plug is held in place by a clip), remove tube on top plate. Remove 10 torx screws from top plate. Depending on how the gasket was put on and the type of material (cork...), you may need a new gasket. It's a little tricky getting unit out. There's a fuel guage tube running directly under the fuel gage which is permanent and is in the way. Once you lift the top plate a an inch or two, try to bring it down (not on the guage side of the tank) , and then try to gradually rotate the plate from the bottom toward the top of the tank. I did this with the tank off, and it worked. If you've never gone this far before, then, there are multiple clear plastic accordian style fuel lines running from fuel pump, and from injector quick release connectors on bottom of tank to the filter. Fuel lines are crimped on filter so you'll need cv joint pliers, or you might get away with cutting them off and replacing them with worm type clamps. If you get cv pliers then I've read that cv pliers bluepoint YA 3080 have a center section that gives you the correct clamp load on the clamp. Any light cv pliers should work. Fuel filter itself is clipped in. It might have replacement part number 30w8525s. Good luck and God bless. Hope this helps.
