Changing the fuel filter on a ML320 1998 is easy it save me acouple hundreds the fuel filter is located on the rear side behind the tire drivers side, the fuel pump is located underneath the rear seat drivers side take only 2 screws and flip forward pull the carpet from the end until you see a sealed cap take a chisel and take the sealent out don't worry the cap can be flatten with a rubber hammer, disconnect the 2 wires from the fuel pump those are the cables coming from the fuel filter! to bring the fuel filter down take rear wheel out driver side take the plastic tire shield out and you should imediately see it on the chasis, need a screwdriver for the adjustment ring, to disconnect the cables ONLY use your finger tips press the yellow tabs and pull to disconnect do not attemp to use any tools you will damage the connections that's it don't forget to buy Modelos
