If it is a B series remove battery leads negative first - then the positive lead +. The battery is on the passenger side of vehicle under bonnet you may have to remove the fues holder it has two clips use a plain screwdriver and lift up unit after depressing clips, with out the way there is a retaining plate nearest you at front of battery a small bolt is removed and plate comes away allowing you to lift battery out. Reffitting is in reverse order connect negative lead last -. Just fitted new battery to my daughters 02 Vectra bolt sheared so had to remove battery holder drill out broken bolt and replace bit of a pest but hey isn't that what dads are for. Good luck.
