Usually batteries have a holding bracket with two nuts holding it. You have remove the nuts. After that take out the battery. Clean the cables with rough sand paper or a metal brush. Install the new battery. Reinstall the bracket. Tighten the nuts. Make sure that it's not too tight because you can damage the battery body. After that connect the wires to the new battery. Don't forget the red wire is plus, the black on is minus. Tighten nuts on the cables. If you have protective grease for electrical contacts you can use to cover the part where the cables meet the battery. It prevents oxidation and corrosion. You can use hard oil as well.
