To change bulbs in a cluster, first ensure the light fixture is turned off and unplugged for safety. Put a flat head screwdriver behind the indicator cluster and prize it out. Then just twist out the bulb.
take old one out, insert new one in after you remove the dash cluster.
What year is your car? On my 93, I just removed the 2 screws from the trim around the instrument cluster and pulled it out. Then I removed the four screws holding the instrument cluster and unplugged the three wire connectors and removed the cluster. Now you can remove the bulbs and maybe you can find colored bulbs at one of your local autoparts stores. The only way I know to change the color is to find bulbs in the color you desire. Either that or find some red plastic and put it inside the housing over the guages. Good luck with that project.
