Get the vehicle up on jackstands, all four corners. and do the following: 1. Remove the Shift Lever assembly. 2. Remove the tunnel cover 3. unbolt the rear transmission bracket from the cross member 4. Remove the cross member from the vehicle. while supporting the transmission. 5. Remove the front and rear drive shafts from the transfer case. 6. Remove the transmission from the vehicle (or push it back approximately 4 feet) 7. Remove the clutch assembly from the motor 8. Inspect the flywheel for ANY discoloration and/or hair line cracks. If any is evident, get the flywheel either replaced or cut. 9. Inspect the rear main seal on the engine replace if necessary 10. Replace the pilot bearing in the flywheel (one time use only) do it all in reverse. Good Luck! typically for a person to do this in their drive way, it is a full HARD 2 days work.
If you are referring to the front bearings, you have to buy a complete hub assembly.
