How do you change the back 3 spark plugs on a 1990 Oldsmobile cutlass supreme?

you have to remove the torque mounts on the front of the motor. carefully tie off one of the mounts one at a time with the motor pulled to the front of the engine bay. you can loosen or tighten the ropes to adjust the motor position. you should be able to reach over the throttle assembly and be able to get to the spark plugs. its tough but it beats paying the extra for someone else to do it... long slow process unless you have a car hoist or lift to ease the the job along. maybe easy and you may not have to remove the torque mounts on the front of the motor. good luck. wezThere is a much simpler way to do this and a faster one. Just remove the alternator and all three plugs are easy to get to. Full time to do this is a total of 1-11/2 hours and you are back on the road

Method one worked great...just need to use a 6" piece of pipe to wedge behind motor instead of tying off with rope. Took less than 30 minutes to change plugs...thanks for the great idea!
