It will become evident once you remove the gauge hood. Using a non-marring item to pry off the gauge hood, it is held on by 3 clips, no different than those used on the scuff sills or other trim panels. Start by prying at the bottom left and right near the stearing column, where the dash pad and dash meet. You should then be able to work your way around to pull it off.
