the fuel filter is located on the driver's side under the car in between the two wheels. It will be in the middle of the gas line and it has two nuts on each end of the actual filter. The easiest way I found was to use two wrenches. One to hold the nut on the filter and the other to loosen the nut from the line entering it. Do the same to both sides. And by the way, don't be alarmed at the gas that spills out, it won't empty your gas tank since the fuel pump isn't on, it's just some left over gas that is in the line. Hope this helps
