Slide the clamps down. pull the fuel filter off the hoses. Put the new one on. And look for for the arrow on the side of the fuel filter. The arrow is to show you which way the fuel is going. It comes from the fuel tank, and goes TO the engine. Point the arrow going to the engine.
Any inline fuel filter will work.
Check the air filter, fuel filter. Either of these easily blocks on mower.
It should be an inline fuel filter. Just remove it and install a new one. Once you find it you will see how it is held in place.

either in the fuel tank or on the fuel line, may look like a round plastic thing,
it may not have one. If it does it will be located on the fuel line between the fuel tank and the carburetor.
Remove the fuel lines from both Ann's of the fuel filter. The lines can be removed by loosening the clamps. Reverse the process to install the new fuel filter.
believe it or not,I used a Turkey Baster to drain my tank to change a fuel filter.
If you have a fuel filter on a push mower then its probably the only one in the universe-fuel filters are commonly found on items with engines.
Try cleaning or changing the air filter...........also check for blockage in fuel line or change the fuel filter if it has one.
