Hello, I did one last night its a gauze filter element you get a socket and ratchet with an extension bar onto the hexagonal parton the top twist it anti-clockwise and the top will lift off. The gauze element will be inside, pull it out, clean the casing and put the new element in and replace onto the bottom part of the unit. Do not tighten it too much as it is plastic and will either strip the threads or crack the case. Much love, good night Redders
