If you have access to an AAMCO transmissions shop, call them schedule an appt., and have it flushed out, as well as replacing the Filter. Flushing it out will remove most of the contaminants, but also might remove particles that are in your clutch surface. Result....you might have more slippage in return for cleaner fluid. Your best bet is to Check the fluid for a burned smell. If it smells burned, save enough for a transmission rebuild ($650-$1400 on average).
