Specifically:

To change the wiper blades, lift up the wipers and underneath you will see a "lever" where the wiper blade mechanism attaches to the wiper arm. Depress this "lever" type mechanism and the wiper will slide off. Sometimes they get stuck so you may have to keep working with them to you get it loose.

Mine was pretty stuck, so I tapped gently on the outside end of the blade mount in order to get it moving. As soon as it released it was easy to complete the exchange.

How do you change wiper blades on 2001 to 2003 Toyota Solara?

The 2001-2003 Toyota Solara has the most common hook-end wiper arms. See sources and related links below for installation videos. Also, purchase the replacement blades first and there will be additional instructions/illustrations on the replacement packages. Locate and press the tab or button where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook of the wiper arm and pull wiper blade out of hook. You may have to rotate and flex the blade to make enough clearance for the hook to pass through.

How do you change the oil on a 2008 Toyota solara?

See answers already posted to "How do you change oil on a 2004 Toyota Solara," "How do you change oil on a 2006 Toyota Solara," "How do you change oil on a 2007 Solara." They're the same as the '08. The short answer is, oil changes are the same on almost all vehicles. 1. Place a suitable container (5 quarts or more for the Solara) under the car. 2. Remove the drain plug and let the oil empty into it. 3. Replace the drain plug and move the container until it's under the filter 4. Spin the filter off (in the case of the Solara it's wise to place rags or paper towels under the filter to prevent a mess on the floor) 5. Replace filter 6. Add five quarts of oil 7. Start engine, check for leaks 8. Reset maintenance light. Cheers
