What fluid? Engine oil, transmission oil, power steering oil, coolant fluid, brake fluid.
Yes oil is cheaper than pump on steering rack [box] every 4 years same with brake fluid.
You could get an oil change as soon as possible to flush the system.
Brake fluid in the oil won't be much of a problem. It probably won't hurt anything, but to be on the safe side, just change the oil. In the power steering pump it will be harder to get out. You'll have to disconnect the high pressure line and let it pump out, then re-fill it with power steering fluid.
Do not use auto power steering oil in a boat.
To change the power steering oil in a Daewoo Matiz, first, locate the power steering reservoir and use a turkey baster or siphon to remove the old fluid. Refill the reservoir with the appropriate type of power steering fluid as specified in the owner's manual. Start the engine and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock to help circulate the new fluid, then check the fluid level and add more if necessary. Finally, inspect for any leaks and ensure everything is properly sealed.
Nothing Drain the oil and change the filter. You more than likely did no damage. PS fluid is a lube but not heavy enough to use as engine oil.
if they did that your car could get damaged and you should sue!
Power steering fluid is typically hydraulic or transmission oil. Drain the engine and change the filter. Replace the oil in the crankcase with the correct oil and amount. I don't believe it will damage the car but PS oil was not designed for use in a crankcase of an internal combustion engine.
there is suppose to be a small reservoir next to the coolant cap. this is the cap of pottle where you add steering oil. if you do not have such a cap, you do not need to add steering oil, because you do not have ABS.
