if you pop the hood and look at the motor. there should be a small clear tank on the right side ( to the left of the motor, but since you are looking at the motor it is your left ) that should be the brake fluid. It should be clearly printed on the top of the lid. The lid's color should be black. I dont' know how you could miss it.
The Nissan Altima has an opaque cylinder that holds the brake fluid. Looking on the side of the cylinder, check the high and low marks and make sure that the fluid is between the two.
At the back of the engine theres a container thing and it has marking on it telling you how much fluid is in it.
There is no such thing as a 94 stanza, it became the altima in 93.
check your brake fluid levels
Brake fluid level is marginally low, check pad wear rather than just adding fluid.
Things you need to check is brake fluid oil, and brake pads. If they are fine then it is the brake switch which needs replacing. Also check the handbrakes as sometimes it is left engaged.
Check the fluid or posibly the pads are wearing.
Check the fluid level in the master cylinder.

low brake fluid
The 2004 Nissan Titan uses DOT 3 brake fluid. It's important to check the owner's manual for specific recommendations and to ensure the brake fluid is maintained at the proper level and quality for optimal braking performance. Always use a clean, sealed container when adding fluid to prevent contamination.
