Actually taking out the fuel pump is hell.I did it on my 98.If you think it is bad, first ceck the injector test spot. This should be on the right side on the top of your engine when standing at the front of the car facing windshield. There is a little blue cap like a bike tire.Next you need to get a 1-100psi gauge down at your local auto parts store(autozone or advance auto parts)and put it on there it should be between 25psi and 45. If all check out ok your fuel pump is fine.Good luck
